Simmons Jannace stagg hen he suffered his first concussion March 13 in Montreal, DiPietro went through one full practice and the morning skate on March 20 before facing Tampa Bay that night. If he follows the same procedure, DiPietro could be ready to go for Game 2 tomorrow night.

"In playoff time, anything is possible," DiPietro said. "It depends on how badly they want me to get up there."

After the game, coach Ted Nolan was noncommittal about whether DiPietro will start Game 2, but when asked yesterday morning if he might face a difficult decision choosing between Dubielewicz and DiPietro once he was healthy, his answer eliminated any hint of controversy.

inertiayouth Recently unveiled in Chicago's Grant Park, Magdalena Abakanowicz's permanent installation, Agora, features 106 headless cast-iron figures, each 9 feet tall and weighing 1,500 pounds. Named for the marketplaces often used for political and public assembly in ancient Greece, the $3.5-million project is a gift from the artist and the Polish ministry of culture, installed under the auspices of the city of Chicago, which is the sister city of Warsaw.
